Our Beliefs

We believe Jesus Christ is God in the flesh, the Son of God, and the Savior of the world. He was born of the Virgin Mary, fully divine and fully human, and lived a sinless life while revealing God’s love and truth through His teachings and actions. He performed miracles, cared for the broken and marginalized, and called all people to repentance and faith. We believe Jesus declared, “I am the way, the truth, and the life,” and no one comes to the Father except through Him. We believe He alone is the path to salvation and reconciliation with God. We believe Jesus died on the cross for the forgiveness of sins and was raised from the dead, demonstrating His power over sin and death. Through Him, we receive grace, salvation, and new life. We believe Jesus is Lord and through a personal relationship with Him, we are transformed and called to live lives of love, humility, and obedience.

We believe the Bible, consisting of the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. Inspired by God and written through human authors, it reveals His character, purposes, and relationship with humanity. It serves as a guide for faith, moral living, and spiritual growth, offering wisdom, truth, and hope across generations. While rooted in specific historical contexts, its message carries enduring significance and invites ongoing reflection, interpretation, and application in everyday life.

We believe humanity was uniquely created by God in His image and likeness, as declared in Genesis. Male and female, equal in dignity and value, were fashioned to reflect God’s character, to live in relationship with Him, and to steward creation under His authority. We affirm that the first humans were created without sin, endowed with moral responsibility and the freedom to choose obedience to God. However, through disobedience, sin entered the world, resulting in the fall of humanity. Because of this, all people inherit a sinful nature and are separated from God, unable to restore themselves to righteousness by their own efforts. We believe every human being, from conception to natural death, possesses inherent worth and dignity as an image-bearer of God. Despite the corruption of sin, this image remains, making all people deserving of respect, justice, and compassion. We affirm humanity’s ultimate purpose is to glorify God, enjoy fellowship with Him, and live in obedience to His will. This purpose is fulfilled only through redemption, which God provides by His grace. Through faith, individuals are restored to a right relationship with God and begin the process of renewal into the likeness of Christ. We believe that apart from divine grace, humanity remains lost; but through God’s saving work, people are given new life, a renewed nature, and the hope of eternal fellowship with Him.

We believe salvation is a gift of grace from God, made available to all people through faith in Jesus Christ. It cannot be earned through human effort or good works, but is freely given out of God’s love and mercy. Through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus, humanity is offered forgiveness of sin and reconciliation with God. We believe salvation begins with repentance—a turning away from sin—and faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. When we truly believe, we give our lives fully to Christ, surrendering to His lordship. This inward transformation is outwardly demonstrated through baptism, which serves as a public declaration of faith and identification with Christ. By this faith, a person is justified, made right with God, and given new life. Salvation is not only a one-time event but also an ongoing process of transformation, where believers grow in holiness and reflect the character of Christ. We believe the Holy Spirit plays a vital role in salvation, dwelling within believers, guiding them, and empowering them to live according to God’s will. Salvation ultimately leads to eternal life with God, restoring the relationship that was broken by sin.
